LONG BEADS CHAIN

Long chain of beads or bead garland (you can say) looks very nice on girls wearing printed dresses, casual tops or kurties. Buy large size beads for making chains. We usually do threading with two folds of thread in case of sewing or stitching. In this case make the thread four folds and make a long garland with beads. After the completion of threading tie the two ends of the thread very strongly so that it do not become loose and untied.

Style Tips:-

Long chain of same color but different size beads looks very trendy with a matching dress. Same chain of vibrant red or black can be wore with any dress. Long chain of multicolor and same or different size beads adds a bohemian touch with printed dresses. Long chain of metallic color small size beads adds an ethnic touch with long or short same color party dresses.



WRISTLETS

Wristlets are made in the same way as long chain. But thin rubber bands or elastic or metal wire should be used as thread in place of nylon one.

Style Tips:-

Large same size beads should be bought for wristlets. One color, bi-color or multicolor beads are in fashion.

BELTS

Beads belts can make your waist line very attractive. It is very easy to make. Just follow the following guide-lines.

First Line:-

1. Buy crystal beads of small size and round shaped. Color should be according to your choice.

2. Take a nylon thread of long length. Fold it once (i.e. two fold). Then pass it through the hole of the needle (i.e. four fold) and knot the ends strongly for twice or thrice so that this big knot can’t pass through the hole of beads. Cut the excess of thread after the knot with scissors.

3. Take four beads and make a ring (Pass the four beads through needle and then thread up to the knot at the last end. Then pass the needle through the hole of the bead adjacent to the knot).

4. Then take three beads and make another ring(Pass the three beads through needle and thread till the end. Then pass the needle through the hole of the bead where the needle was actually. And then pass the same through the second and third bead).

5. Take three beads and make another (third) ring.

6. Take three beads to make fourth ring. The process of making rings will continue in this way until the chain of rings reaches to the measurement of your waist.

Second Line:-

1. After completion of the above step, take the needle to your right hand side through the side by bead.

2. Take three beads and make a ring beside the chain from the side by bead. And take the needle before this ring through the beads.

3. Take two beads and make a ring. Continue the above step again. Take two beads and continue the same to make the third ring of second line.

4. Complete this line in the same process. You may add as much lines as you wish in this way.

5. You can buy beads of water drop shape having side holes at the end of it. And join these beads with the bottom line of the above belt maintaining a certain distance with needle and thread.

6. Tie the hooks with strong stitches at the two ends of the belt. Or you can tie zari-made thin ropes for buttoning the belt.

Style Tips:-

Belts with pearl color beads can be wore with modern zari-work chiffon saris. The same goes well with dresses of all colors and prints.

In these days colorful beads are very much common in fashion as well as style. In neckpieces, bangles, wristlets, earrings, patchworks in clothes, beads add a glamour touch every time. These dazzling crystal like beads are made of plastics/glass are shaped like gems.
You also know that these beads are also used to make many other accessories like show pieces, flowers on the vas, bags, purses, belts, door hangings, etc. But you don’t know how these things are made. These are very easy to make. It is as simple as you thread garlands. So, hurry up! Make your accessories yourself in this festive season and surprise your friends, colleagues, relatives.

Of course the main item is beads of various shape and color and for threading you have to buy needle and nylon thread which are strong enough to carry the weight of beads. Also make sure that the bead should have a hole in it for threading.

In these days the conservativeness for fake jewellery has gone. Lighter jewelleries are preferred in place of costly gold and precious stone made jewelleries. These beads jewelleries are very fashionable, trendy and easily suits with western wears and casual dresses like jeans, skirts, three-quarters, shorts. Even it goes wonderful with modern balloon shaped frocks and evening wears.

CRYSTAL FLOWERS
The crystal flowers which decorate your flower vas can be used as fashion accessories. It is also very simple to learn.

1. First collect items ---- A piece of thin board, long shaped beads having side hole for petals, a round flat shaped having hole in center, thin metal wire for joining and adhesive.

2. Cut the board in round shape with compass. The diameter of it must be 1-2 inches more than the diameter of the flat center bead.

3. Pass the thin metal through the hole of the flat round shaped bead in half-way. Then bend the two sides of the metal wire below. Twist these two together and give it spiral shape.

4. String the metal wire in the center of the board and paste the flat bead on the board with adhesive.

5. Brush the adhesive on the rest portion of the board and paste the bottom of the petal beads surrounding the center beads.

6. After drying the adhesive your flower is ready to beautify your flower vas.

Style Tips:-
Make the crystal flowers without the metal wire and paste it on your fashion belts of beads or on those bought from shops with gums. It will be wonderful. Paste the same on your plain old broaches and use it to tie the plete of sari or dupatta. This flowers can decorate your also. Paste the flower on your old back clip or hairpin and flaunt the same on traditional occasions. It will catch many eyes.
